Dr. Gift Dumedah

Gift Dumedah completed his undergraduate Bachelors in 2002 at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. This was followed by a Master’s program in 2005 at Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada, and PhD in March 2010 at the University of Guelph, Canada. He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at McMaster University, Canada from 2010 to 2011. In October 2011, Gift joined the Department of Civil Engineering at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia at the Lecturer level. During this time, he led and coordinated several projects linking University research to industry. In October 2016, Gift joined the Department of Geography and Rural Development at KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. His research work covers water resources, climate and water impact on the terrestrial environment, observation-model synthesis, and Geospatial Information Science and Technology. Gift’s interest in mobility is focused on computational network science, and transport relations with health and the environment.
