Dr. Abena Agyeiwaa Obiri-Yeboah

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Kumasi Technical University, (KsTU)

Dr. Abena Agyeiwaa Obiri-Yeboah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Kumasi Technical University, (KsTU), is a registered member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an MS in Road and Transportation Engineering and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Dr. Obiri-Yeboah has over 15 years work experience since graduation. After serving as the Program Assistant for the flagship Road and Transportation Engineering program at KNUST from 2006-2008, she left to continue her practice in the classroom at the Kumasi Technical University, KsTU. She teaches Highway and Transportation Engineering, Technical Report Writing, Site Organizational Studies, Research Methods and Introduction to PowerPoint. Dr. Obiri-Yeboah is involved in mentorship programs through Women in Engineering and Millennium Challenge Authority. At KsTU, she is instrumental in the faculty's outreach program that reaches out to SHS students particularly the girl-child, to encourage interest in engineering careers.
